The town of Douz, nicknamed the "Gateway to the Sahara," is a key stop on the Balloons Event Show - Tunisia - 2025. Douz is also a stage of the Douz Hot Air Balloon Festival, renowned for its unique Saharan landscapes and desert traditions.
The festival will take place from October 24 to November 1, 2025, across three regions in southern Tunisia: Djerba, Douz, and Tozeur. Douz will host its festival days on October 27, 28, and 31, 2025.
Its role confirms the intention to expand the festival toward Tozeur and Tataouine. This expansion reinforces the itinerant nature of the Douz Hot Air Balloon Festival, recognized both in Tunisia and internationally.
